Betty Sweet Cake Card

OK, so two deaths in one month is just A LOT to handle along with DS starting school, all this government shut down BS, and well...just life!  I am finally starting to get back on track...a little crafting never hurt ;)

This is the card I made for my DH birthday this past week.  Isn't she cute?

Here are the details:

Image:  Betty Sweet Cake from Simply B Stamps.  I colored her with my pencils & gamsol, added stickles for fun 
Sentiment:  came with the image
Papers:  red & white card stock, Colorbok stripes
Extras:  red pearls, silver corners and lines from Flower Soft, balloon stickers, bracket edge punch

I have to say, my husband got a chuckle from this card.
