Happy Valentine's Day!

I have been wanting to color this image,  Hugs and Kisses by Saturated Canary.  Snow days are perfect coloring time...so...
I tried a new technique with my pencils, instead of using Gamsol to blend you use a lighter shade of pencil.  I do like how vibrant it makes the colors, and not quite as muddy as they can get with Gamsol.  I kept the card simple...Daisy D's papers, snip of "love" ribbon, rhinestones and epoxy heart stickers.
Here is the card I made for my DH for Valentine's day...
I used a fun image from Simply B Stamps.  Isn't she cute?  I kept the card simple...cute papers, doily heart, epoxy heart stickers, and an epoxy sentiment sticker.

Hope you are having a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with love!

Sweet Treats for Valentines

I made both of these for a swap.

The candy pocket is an old fold I have done many times, I just decorated it.  I used the Stampin' Up Owl punch to make a cute decoration, added googly eyes and mounted onto a scallopped circle.  (Here is a tutorial for the fold:  Diaper Fold Treat Pocket).

This one is a candy kiss tube.  It holds three kisses.  I started with a 3" x 3.5" piece of paper.  I scored it at 1", 2", and 3".  I then punched and attached the trim piece.  I ran tape runner along the middle space, placed my kisses and folded the paper around them.  I used a Stampin' Up hexagon punch for the closure.  Pretty cute, huh?
