Cards...

OK, I joined a new group & this is the first swap...you had to make two cards: one featuring the KISS technique & one featuring vellum or acetate as the focal point. So, after much trial & error, here is what I came up with...

< This is the KISS technique...after I "kissed' the butterfly stamp to the background stamp, I tore the edges & inked them. I then sprayed the entire element with Smooch Spritz in gold...it made it very shimmery.

>This is the vellum focus one...the butterfly is made of vellum. I cut two butterflies...one out of mint green & one out of vellum. I then dry embossed the vellum butterfly & sprayed it with the Smooch Spritz in gold. Once dry I layered the two butterflies and added jewels and wire antennae. I really like this border punch...and I think it went perfectlywith the papers.
Now to get them in the mail. I can't wait to see what I get back! It is always fun to get your swap cards and see what others do with the same themes.
Now to make a set of ten cards for another swap I am in:)
