Fun Photo Cards

 

I joined in a challenge that involved you making cards using a photo.  Well, I couldn't decide on which to use so I did all three. These were so fun & fast...and I love them!  I used embellishments in my scrap basket. The Asian ones also include a few Bo Bunny stickers and Cricut cuts from a swap.  This was a fun swap and now gives me ideas for all those extra photos I take!

Simply Betty Holiday Cards

 In between all the holiday craziness I have found a little time to work on some cards. 

First my card for the Simply Betty December Facebook Page Fan Challenge. We had three choice for images, all that were adorable, but I chose Jolly Corinne.  for the Corinne image we had to add holly.

All papers were from my scrap basket.  I cut the holly from the December 25th Cricut cartridge.  I cut the red circle form the CTMH Art Philosphy Cricut cartridge.  I used a scalloped edge punch, added some red rhinestones, black ribbon and a little Crystal Effects to her boots.  Smokin'! 

Next, I made this one...another Simply Betty image, Candy Cane Betty.

Again, all papers were from my scrap basket.  The flourishes were a trade with a friend, believe they are a Memory Box die.  I added a black bow, Jolee's poinsettia sticker, red and green rhinestones.

Gerda Steiner Designs Snowman Card

Getting in the mood for winter...this is the current Freebie from Gerda Steiner's Designs for her monthly challenge.  I adore him and the little bird.

Little Indian Betty Card

VooDoo Corinne Card

Finally completed my card for the latest challenge for the Simply Betty Fan Page Challenge.  You had two images to choose from and, since I know Corinne personally, I felt I just had to choose her.  For her image you had to include stick pins in your project...easy since it was a voodoo image.

Swimming Dolly

Just finished this card to enter into a couple of challenges...

Here's the details:
Image:  Swimming Dolly by Pixie Dust Studio
Sentiment:  due to the unique challenge, I printed it on the computer.
Papers:  scrap stash....Bo Bunny Citrus dots, blue card stock, and a print
Extras:  I masked and inked the background for Dolly,  Dolly is cut out and pop dotted, Crystal Effects on eyes and inner tube, flowers, sun glasses buttons, and self adhesive felt trims.

Happy Easter Card

Just finished this cute Easter card for DH.  It is a  Joy Fold Card...really fun & unique fold.  I am going to enter it in a few challenges, too.

Sentiment - Stampin' Up stamp
Papers - from my scrap stash...Bo Bunny dots, Reminesce stripes and blue card stock.
Extras - iridescent green rhinestones on all corners, flourishes cut on Cricut from the Cindy Loo cartridge and covered in Lime Stickles, silk flowers, fancy corner punch
