I am always surprised when I get on here and realize that I have been away longer than I thought...2, sometimes even three weeks. I always wonder, where did the time go??? Well, this time I know....My son started 8th grade and we we have had a lot of adjusting to do...not only is it a new grade, but they decided to totally rearrange the kids days.
Confirmation classes started back up, no I am not getting confirmed, but I volunteer with the youth minister to help keep this program going. 40 kids in the program, but only 8-9 actually do anything to help :( I don't mind, but...it keeps me busy. And this year, on top of doing all the organization for the program I am teaching the parent portion...yeah. This is SOOOO out of my box, but I am pushing through it. I actually did our opening prayer last week. Now, to some of you this is no big deal, but to anyone raised Catholic you will understand. Prayer is usually something you have remembered, not an impromptu, from the heart thing. I can do this!
My parents also came for a week visit. It is always nice to have them here, but it does tend to through me off a little...I stay up too late, don't workout, eat all the wrong things....Oh, well...I love having them here.
Ahhh....things are finally settling in. Fall is definitely in the air....cool, crisp weather, leaves falling, fuzzy sweaters...I love this time. Now, hopefully I can get back to some crafting :)
