Made this card for a western themed swap. I love this little bird, I have used him before.
Here's the details -

Sentiment: Stampin' Up, A Little Somethin'
Papers: Kraft card stock, blue scraps, and a piece of digital paper from Doodle Pantry
Extras: CM circle cutter, Spellbinder's Scalloped Circle, Cuttlebug wood grain emboss folder, CM double circle punch, Tim Holtz Distress Ink: antique linen, Stampin' Up ink : close to Cocoa, Cat's Eye Chalk Ink: walnut, silver brads, twine, silver heart charm from my stash, and a sunflower.
Now to get in the mail so my partner can enjoy it!

Where I Live Card
Joined a new swap group on FB and this was for one of the first swaps I participated in. We had to create a card that reflected where we live. This was a little challenging as I wanted a usable card...
Here's the details -
Papers: I printed a Virgnia map for the background, I converte it to sepia in Photoshop, tore the edges, and inked with Burnt Umber Cat's Eye Chalk Ink
Extras: Stampin' Up Bird punch, small heart punch (for the dogwoods), champagne rhinestones, and gray pearls.
I really like the cardinal. I found the directions for it here.
I hope my partner likes it. I can't wait to see her's, she is from New York.

Hello Card with a Saturated Canary Image
Wow! times really flies when everyone in the house has been sick! Started with son, passed to hubby and then I got it. Nothing worse than a summer cold...it just lingers. I am still coughing, but at least I do not feel like I would rather die then get out of bed :) Finally some crafting time!
Colored this image a bit ago, just now making it into a card. I used a few of my new toys too.
Here are the details-
Image: Jules from Saturated Canary; colored with Prismcolor pencils
Sentiment: Stampin' Up Six Sides, CM hexagon punch
Papers: all from my scrap basket
Extras: Stampin' Up Delicate Designs emboss folder, Stampin' Up Large Scallop Edgelits, Close to my Heart Inks: Hollyhock & topiary, recollections pink flowers, Lasting Impressions kiwi velvet ribbon, and pink rhinestones
Hope your week is off to a GREAT start!
