Make A Wish Card

I obviously love this layout as I have used it twice before (coffee card and good-bye card).  I needed some quick, but cute birthday cards.  I bought these dimensional candle stickers awhile ago with the intention of making some cards, so they were the perfect embellishment.  The sentiment is a Stampin'Up stamp.  I added a few Stampin' Up sequin stars and washi tape to the hand drawn border.  I think they are very festive.  What do you think?  Do you have a "go to" card layout?

Good Bye Card

As summer begins we have friends that are moving and so does my son.  I needed a quick card, not much crafting time right now as we are preparing to move.  I found the clip art of the bottle online, no source info with picture, and I thought it was cute and would be perfect.  I lifted the layout from my previous coffee card.  I love it...I printed three copies of the bottle and then layered up certain parts to give it dimension.  The border is hand drawn.  I added a few sequin stars and some washi tape, done!  Sometimes simple is best.

Blue Bird Card

Cute CAS card I made for a recent swap.  I love how they came out.  I used the Stampin' Up Bird Builder punch.  all the colored card stock is from my scrap stash.  Love when I can use up scraps! This card just makes me smile.

Back to graduation cards!

Bundle of Love Baby Card

Just a quick share...

I have been challenging myself to do CAS (clean and simple) cards.  Those that know me know how hard this is for me, I love the bling, glitter, pretty papers, etc.  However, I am always surprised when I finish a CAS card at how much I do like it.  And this one, well, I love it!

Here's the Details:

Image - Hot Off The Press, Small elephant clear stamp.  Decided to do it a little different this time and did the watercolor technique using Stamping up Not Quite Navy, Basic Gray, and Pink Passion inks and a water brush.

Sentiment - came with the stamp set

Extras - Cuttlebug dotted Swiss emboss folder, ribbon, embroidery floss, Creative Memories Circle cutter, and tag punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate Card & a Little Embroidery

I like to challenge myself someties and CAS cards are a huge challenge for me, so...while my embroidery machine was doing the work I decided to try to get a few made up.  Here is what I came up with:

I really like them, too.

Here's the Details:

Sentiment - Stampin' Up Feeling Sentimental
Papers - White pearl and scraps
Extras - Hexagon punch from Creative memories, Sequin Assortment from Stampin' Up, Color Box chestnut ink, pop dot dimensionals

And here is what I embroidered:

My son just made the varsity golf team and I thought he needed a special golf towel.

I hope you have a Marvelous Monday!
