Butterfly Sympathy Card

Had to make one of those "cards I hate to make" today.  I don't' make typical sympathy cards...very rarely will they even have words on the outside.  I tend to use butterflies on my sympathy cards.  For me, butterflies are like visits from our passed loved ones.  Some people look for the "pennies from heaven" I look for a butterfly.

Here are the details:
Papers:  all from my scrap basket, I embossed the white and inked the edges of all with Tuxedo Momento Ink
Extras:  black twill ribbon, white butterfly trim, black and clear rhinestones, silver tone metal large butterfly charm.  I also used a Spellbinders to make the medallion behind the butterfly.

Thanks for looking!  I hope your June is off to a wonderfully crafty start!

  7. You did a great job on that card. I certainly need to dedicate more time to making things like that.
