I am a SAHM mother of three...only one left home though. Paper crafting is my passion...I love creating things and saving memories. I also enjoy reading, baking, spending time with my friends and family, and walking my two furry children.
My goal on my blog is to share something a little crafty, something yummy, and something fun every week. Thank you for visiting & comments are appreciated :)
I made this card for a swap. The theme was summer shaped cards. I used the Pack Your Bags Cricut cartridge to cut the card. I added Stickles, rhinestones, ribbon, twine and a cute button to finish it off. I hope my partner likes it!
Here's a card I made for a GF daughter who just received her Master's from Florida. I wanted to try the box card... I think it is a fun card and will definitely give this type of card another try. Here's the Details: Image - clip art I found online; I added the graduation cap. Sentiment - both are from Stampin' Up: Starburst Sayings & Occasions Alphabet Papers - all from my scrap basket Extras - Stampin' Up Starburst Framelits Dies, tag punch, rhinestones, brad, CM corner rounder & ribbon Here is a tutorial for this type of card: Card in a Box I did adjust my measurements so my card would fit in a 5x7 envelope. Hope you are having a crafty day! Marie
This was the only crafty thing I accomplished this weekend...we were busy, busy! Here's the details: Image - Beach Cutie Toots from Simply B Stamps; I colored her with Primscolor pencils and accented with lime, yellow and orange Stickles; as well as Crystal Effects on the sunglasses and float. Sentiment - came with the digi; added Crystal Effects Papers - all from my scrap basket, I don't think you can tell in the picture but the patterned papers are pearlescent Extras - Prima flowers in yellow and pink, ribbon, button, small pompom, and that cute crab is a cupcake pick. I may have gone a little overboard with the embellishments.... I am entering this card into the Anything goes challenge at Simply Challenged Challenges. Happy Monday! Marie
